AI sales coach for Zoom calls

The short answer

Veracity is an AI sales coach for Zoom calls: while the buyer is still talking, it puts your next question on screen and answers technical questions from your own documents, and no bot joins the Zoom meeting. Zoom sells its own AI coach too: Sales Assist, part of Zoom Revenue Accelerator, which works inside Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phone with a Revenue Accelerator license. Veracity is a desktop app for Windows and Mac that runs beside Zoom, and beside Teams, Google Meet, Webex and any other meeting app.

01 / How it works

How does Veracity work with Zoom?

Open your Zoom meeting the way you always do, then start Veracity beside it. Veracity hears your microphone and your computer's audio, so it follows the Zoom call without joining it: nothing shows up in the Zoom participant list. Before every call, Veracity asks you to confirm you have consent to record. You tell the people on the call you use it, the same way you'd tell them you're recording. The audio is never saved, and the live transcript is encrypted on your computer during the call.

During the Zoom call, you get:

  • An opening question, ready when the Zoom call starts, built from your prep, your research and your earlier calls with the account.
  • The next question while the buyer is still talking, 20 words or fewer, upgraded in place with what they just said: "You mentioned..."
  • Answers to technical questions from your own documents, PDF, Word, text and Markdown files and your help site, with the files named on the card. When your documents don't cover it, it says so instead of guessing.
  • An objection card of 30 words or fewer when the buyer pushes back.
  • Notes filled in while you talk, MEDDPICC included.
Recorded in the Veracity app. The card turns Evolved and rewrites the question around the buyer's own words, highlighted.

After the call, every question you asked is graded, with the sentence you could have said instead, and you get a recap and a rating that moves with your calls.

02 / Zoom's own AI coach

Zoom AI sales coach vs Veracity

Zoom's own sales coaching is part of Zoom Revenue Accelerator. Zoom calls Sales Assist "your live, in-call coach" that "surfaces next-best actions, objection handling, and playbook insights in real time," "right inside Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phone." Zoom says its scorecards "quantify performance automatically – what worked, what didn't, and where to focus next."

03 / When Zoom's coach fits

When Zoom's own coach is the right choice

If your whole team sells on Zoom Meetings and Zoom Phone and already pays for Zoom Revenue Accelerator, Sales Assist works inside the Zoom app you already use.

Veracity fits when your calls happen on more than one meeting app, and you want the next question and answers from your own documents on the rep's screen, whoever hosts the call.
