Your last call with the account, on this call

The short answer

Yes. Veracity is a desktop app that keeps a short brief of your earlier calls with the same company. That brief feeds the next call's opening question, the questions you get while the buyer talks, and the answers. You can edit it or switch it off, and you can import past calls from any recorder.

Starting over
What challenges are you facing with your data today? The buyer answered this last time. Asking it again tells them nobody listened.
Picking up
Last time you mentioned bad files from five or six plants. What happens when one of those comes in?It starts from what they already told you and asks what happens next.
An example built from the launch film's story. A line from the September 9 discovery call turns the next call's first question from starting over into picking up where you left off.
01 / How it carries over

How does your last call reach this one?

A second call that starts from zero wastes the buyer's time. Veracity starts it from what they already told you.

ONEA call with the account

You run a call with the company in Veracity, or import one from the recorder you already use.

TWOA brief of what was said

Before your next call with the same company, Veracity sums up the earlier calls in a short brief. You can edit it.

THREEThis call starts from it

The brief feeds the opening question, the questions you get while the buyer talks, and the answers.

From the Veracity launch film. The rep's generic follow-up is struck. A line from the research, a line from the September 9 discovery call and the buyer's word "Mostly" become one question.
02 / When to leave it out

When should you leave earlier calls out?

Some calls should start fresh. Switch the brief off and earlier calls stay out of this call's questions and answers.

  • A first call with a different team or division at the same company.
  • A new project that has nothing to do with the last one.
  • A brief that's out of date. Edit it instead, so the questions work from what's true now.
03 / Calls from your recorder

Can it use calls you didn't run in Veracity?

Yes. In the Veracity portal, import transcripts from any recorder as .txt, .md, .csv, .vtt or .srt files, and those calls feed your next questions with that company.

So a team that already records its calls keeps its recorder for the library and uses Veracity on the call itself. See real-time coaching vs call recording for how the two fit together.
