Pre-call research that carries into the call

The short answer

Veracity is a desktop app that researches your prospect for you. Before every call, Veracity searches the web about your prospect's company and reads their website. It pulls recent, checked news about the account into your call prep and looks at each person's role by title and industry. That briefing reaches every question on the call.

01 / What it researches

What does Veracity look up before the call?

The homework you'd do with a stack of browser tabs open, done before you join. Four things go into it.

02 / Into the call

How does the research reach the call?

Veracity turns the research into one briefing, and the briefing feeds the call. You don't have to remember what you read an hour ago.

FIRSTAn opening question

When the call starts, an opening question built from your prep, your research and your earlier calls is already on the card.

THENEvery question after it

The briefing reaches every question Veracity writes while the buyer talks.

LATEResearch that lands late

Start the call before research finishes and it keeps going. Each piece reaches the call as it lands.

For how the questions themselves get written, see live question suggestions.

03 / What to add first

What should you add before the research runs?

The research is only as sharp as what you start it with. Three things make the biggest difference.

  • The company, so the search starts with the right company and the right website.
  • The real title of each person you're meeting. The people research works from title and industry, so "Director of IT" gets you much further than "contact".
  • What kind of call it is, and what you need to leave with. Your prep feeds the opening question.

Questions, answered

Veracity does. Before every call, Veracity searches the web about your prospect's company and reads their website. It pulls recent, checked news about the account into your call prep, and looks at each person's role by title and industry.
Yes, by title and industry: what someone in that role is measured on and worried about. That briefing reaches every question you get on the call.
In the opening question when the call starts, and in every question after it. If you start the call before the research finishes, each piece reaches the call as it lands.
Yes. Earlier calls with the same company feed the next call's opening question, questions and answers. You can edit that brief or switch it off.
No. Veracity runs on your computer beside Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or Webex, or in a meeting in the room, so no bot joins the meeting. Before every call you confirm you have consent to record.
