AI assistant for Webex meetings

The short answer

Veracity is an AI assistant for Webex meetings built for B2B sales: it runs next to Webex on your computer and puts the next question on screen while the buyer is still talking. Cisco's own AI Assistant in Webex helps you catch up: a summary of the last 15 minutes, whether your name came up, the action items, and a summary and transcript after the meeting. Veracity helps with what to say: the next question, and answers from your own documents with the files named. Nothing joins the Webex meeting.

01 / How it works

How does Veracity work with Webex?

Join your Webex meeting the way you always do, then start Veracity beside it. Veracity hears your microphone and your computer's audio, so it follows the meeting without joining it. Before every call, Veracity asks you to confirm you have consent to record. You tell the people on the call you use it, the same way you'd tell them you're recording. The audio is never saved, and the live transcript is encrypted on your computer during the call.

During the Webex meeting, you get:

  • An opening question, ready when the Webex meeting starts, built from your prep, your research and your earlier calls with the account.
  • The next question while the buyer is still talking, 20 words or fewer, upgraded in place with what they just said: "You mentioned..."
  • Answers to technical questions from your own documents, PDF, Word, text and Markdown files and your help site, with the files named on the card. When your documents don't cover it, it says so instead of guessing.
  • An objection card of 30 words or fewer when the buyer pushes back.
  • Notes filled in while you talk, MEDDPICC included.
From the Veracity launch film. The rep's generic follow-up is struck. The research, the last call and the word the buyer just used become one better question, while the buyer is still talking.

After the call, every question you asked is graded, with the sentence you could have said instead, and you get a recap and a rating that moves with your calls.

02 / Cisco AI Assistant

Cisco AI Assistant vs Veracity

Webex's Help Center says that during a meeting, Cisco AI Assistant lets you "catch up on what you've missed, understand the discussion, ask questions without disturbing the meeting." Its options include "Catch me up," "Was my name mentioned" and "What are the action items." After the meeting, "You also receive a summary and transcript after the meeting, without having to record." The page also says "This feature is only available on the Webex Suite meeting platform."

03 / When Cisco's assistant fits

When Cisco AI Assistant is the right choice

If you want to catch up on a long Webex meeting, or get a summary and transcript without recording, Cisco AI Assistant is built into Webex.

Veracity is built for the sales call itself: the question you ask next and the answer you give, while the buyer is still talking.
