Veracity vs Conversation Pilot, side by side
The two start in the same place: an app on your own computer, beside the call, with nothing joining the meeting. They differ in who they're built for, when the question shows up, and what you get once the call ends. Conversation Pilot's own site writes its name as one word, ConversationPilot.
| Conversation Pilot | Veracity | |
|---|---|---|
| Built for | Sales, recruitment and customer conversations | The sales rep on the call, and their manager |
| Where it runs | Signed Windows and Mac apps with "a quiet overlay" beside the call, which its site says is "kept out of screen shares"; no bot joins | A desktop app for Windows and Mac beside the call; nothing joins the meeting, and you confirm recording consent before every call |
| The next question | "The next best question," about five seconds after they speak, plus follow-ups | One open question of 20 words or fewer while the buyer is still answering, then upgraded with what they just said |
| Other live help | Objection responses, and prompts to confirm need, budget, authority and timeline | Objection cards with a line to say, and live notes with a MEDDPICC section |
| Your documents | You upload documents such as your pitch or a job spec, and pick which ones ride on each call | Answers from your own documents, with the files named; numbers not found in a source are removed |
| After the call | A report: summary, objections, signals, risks, next actions, notes ready for your CRM and an email draft | A recap, every question graded with a better sentence, and a rating that moves with your calls |
| Calls it covers | Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet "or any call app" | Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, Webex and meetings in the room |
When the question shows up
Conversation Pilot's coaching comes as a card after the other person speaks: "A coaching card appears on your screen about five seconds after they speak: the next question, an objection response or a qualification prompt." When you coach from your documents, its cards are "built to stick to what's in your documents and what was said on the call."
Veracity starts on the question while the buyer is still talking:
- While the buyer is still answering, it writes one open question of 20 words or fewer, then upgrades it in place with what they just said: "You mentioned..."
- The question builds on the impact, the cause or what happens next, uses only what the buyer said, and never offers a menu of options.
- Nothing on the card changes while you're talking, so a glance is enough.
- Answers come from your own documents, with the files they came from named. When your documents don't have it, it says so instead of guessing.
What you get after the call
Conversation Pilot writes a report: "Exec summary, objections, buying or candidate signals, risks, next actions," plus notes ready for your CRM and an email draft, "written for you when the call ends." For managers, its site lists a dashboard to "see every rep's calls and reports, leaderboards and playbook compliance in one place."
Veracity's after-call view is about the rep's questions. You get a recap with Diagnosis, MEDDPICC, Risks and Improve sections. Every question you asked is graded, with the sentence you could have said instead, and a long-term rating moves with your call quality, with one thing to work on. Managers see team and per-person call scores by week.
The call also carries forward. Earlier calls with the same company feed the next call's opening question, questions and answers, and you can edit that brief or switch it off. Calls captured in another tool can be imported as transcripts (.txt, .md, .csv, .vtt or .srt).
When Conversation Pilot is the right choice
If your calls include recruitment as well as sales, Conversation Pilot is built for both, and its report covers "buying or candidate signals." It also coaches in 11 languages: "English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Swedish, Danish and Norwegian, or auto-detect." If you want a written report with notes for your CRM and an email draft at the end of every call, that is part of what it does.
Veracity is for sales calls on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet and Webex, and for meetings in the room. It is built for the call itself: the question you ask next, the answer you give, and a grade on how you did.
